2010 Conference Registration

2010 Conference registration is limited to the first 200 attendees. The 2008 & 2009 LJWC sold out, so register early for 2010!

Early Bird Full Conference Price (before April 1, 2010): $295

Regular Full Conference Price (April 1, 2010 through August 15, 2010): $385

Late Registration Full Conference Price (after August 15, 2010): $435

To register for the conference by phone or to add a guest meal to your registration, please call 858-467-1978. Additional guests must accompany a full conference attendee. Additional guest meal fees are as follows:

  • Friday Evening Reception - $40 - Includes appetizers, no-host cocktail hour and keynote address.
  • Saturday Lunch - $75 - Includes lunch and the keynote address.
  • Saturday Dinner - $95 - Includes access to the faculty booksigning no-host cocktail hour, dinner and keynote address.

    • Single-day conference registration will only become available October 1, 2009, if space is available.

    Conference Registration Terms & Conditions of Registration

    1. By submitting the registration you agree to pay the amount stated on your registration form.
    2. You understand that no registration is guaranteed until you have received an e-mail confirmation from La Jolla Writers Conference; such confirmation will be sent upon successful completion of transaction.
    3. You understand that registration fee for the La Jolla Writers Conference does not include lodging. Lodging can be arranged at a discounted rate for conference attendees on a first come-first serve basis through the Paradise Point Resort & Spa at (858) 274-4630 or on the web at www.paradisepoint.com.
    4. Manuscripts for the Private Read & Critiques must be received by us, in accordance with the stated parameters, no later than September 25, 2010. No Refunds for the Private Read & Critiques will be given after September 20, 2009.
    5. Only paid conference attendees can participate in any of the conference events including, but not limited to, classes, lectures, workshops, receptions, meals, & keynotes.
    6. There will be a $35.00 processing fee for all refunds before September 25, 2010. No Refunds will be given after September 25, 2009. Requests for refunds must be made in writing and sent via e-mail, fax, or snail mail.
    7. While we will make every effort to keep the information provided to you as accurate as possible, all information, including but not limited to classes, class schedules, and faculty, is subject to change.
